NUMBER55

#55 GROW MY OWN GARDEN

Someday I want to live in a house, a house with a garden, I don't need a white picket fence, but I want my garden. We always had a vegetable garden when I was growing up and my mother was always working in the garden planting flowers and plants. I can't wait until I live in a place where I can do the same.

NUMBER11

# 11 FALL IN LOVE

This one is pretty simple. I want to fall in love. I've never been in love and I really want that before I die, I want to be in love with someone who is in love with me. I also want a family and kids with the person that I'm in love with. But until them it can just be #11 on this list.

NUMBER12

#12 LEARN TO TEND BAR

I think being a bartender could be a pretty fun job, I love people...and alcohol. So being a bartender is kind of the perfect marriage of the two. If you've ever heard of the show Three Sheets it was kind of the inspiration behind this one. If you haven't heard of it you can watch it on Hulu for free. It's really interesting and fun. Check it out!

NUMBER6

#6 ATTEND THE WORLD CUP

Before I die want to attend the world cup FIFA tournament, it only happens every four years, and it seems like an amazing melting pot of culture and die-hard fans. I do enjoy watching soccer (football) and I think that the atmosphere of the world cup must be electric and something I would love to experience.

NUMBER14

#14 LEARN "HELLO" AND "CHEERS" IN THE LANGUAGE OF EVERY COUNTRY I VISIT

So this is the #14 thing on my list of 100 things I want to do before I die. If you want to see the others that I've posted so far click the "100 Things" label at the bottom of this post. Anyway I feel like this one is pretty self explanatory, and if you've read my other posts then you no doubt know how much I want to travel, and everywhere I go these are the two phrases I want to take home with me and remember forever.

NUMBER62

#62 BE A MOM

Anyone who knows me can tell you, I love babies. Really I seriously adore them, I can't wait to be a mother. I've always wanted kids, and now that I'm 18 it's getting closer (obviously not for a while, but closer than it was when I was a baby myself). A mother is something I am so excited to be in this life, I can't wait, well I can. But you know what I mean.

NUMBER22

#22 ATTEND CARNIVAL

Yeah so this one goes with all the other travel ones, I REALLY want to see the world and so this is just another event/place on an already very long list of things I want to see before I die. I think my grandparents have it figured out perfectly, they built their dream house and have now retired and simply enjoy living in the perfect house and then go on really awesome vacations. They've been to China, Africa, and Egypt just to name a few.

NUMBER32

#32 CLIMB A MOUNTAIN

Nothing sounds like quite as big of an accomplishment as "I climbed a mountain". Metaphorically and literally "climbing a mountain" is an amazing way to show success and determination. Which is why before I die I want to climb one, not necessarily one of the biggest or hardest just one. I want to be able to say "I climbed that mountain" I hope that makes sense.

NUMBER16

#16 SEE THE PYRAMIDS

I've always wanted to see the pyramids, and as I mentioned in the post for #82 I love to travel, there are a lot of numbers on my list that include places I want to visit and things I want to see. This is #16. I have read about the pyramids since I was a little kid and the sheer magnitude of this man made structure has captivated me.

NUMBER82

#82 RESCUE A DOG FROM A SHELTER

I've always wanted my own dog, and being in college it is impossible to have one right now, even when I move out of the dorms I won't be able to show it the attention it deserves. But I can't wait until I can finally have my own dog, and I really hope to adopt a dog from a shelter and rescue it.

NUMBER18

#18 DRIVE COAST TO COAST ACROSS THE UNITED STATES

This is something I've always wanted to do, I absolutely LOVE road trips, whether it is an hour to see a friend in college, or a spontaneous 6 hour drive down to Los Angeles (I have to tell you that story some time). Regardless of who I'm with, family, friends, full car, or all by myself, I love being on the road. I love seeing new things and new places. So before I die I want to road trip across the United States.

100 Things

So the other day I made a list of 100 things I want to do before I die. I had a paper due, and thanks to the beauty of procrastination I finished the list instead. So I've decided that everyday I will post one thing from my list (in NO particular order) and explain why it is something I want to do before I die.
